Karate Union Of Scotland North

KUSN instructors are all SKGB qualified, are insured as instructors, and are appointed and trained to teach Shotokan karate by Sensei Paul Dempsey who is the chief instructor of the Karate Union of Scotland North.

Sensei Paul Dempsey was appointed chief instructor of the KUSN in 1985 by Shihan Nakayama and has been teaching Shotokan karate for 30 years since the age of sixteen. During that time, well over 200 karateka have received their black belts under his instruction. In addition to Sensei Paul's teaching, there are a number of assistant instructors in the KUSN.
